Winemakers notes:
Deep garnet ruby in color and from the first pour you are hit with aromas of big ripe blackberries and cherries. Hints of tobacco and eucalyptus are carried along with notes of violets and black tea. Wild blackberries and blueberries, raspberry jam and cigar spice box along with hints mocha and cassis carry along on the palate. The finish is long with the silky tannins wrapped like velvet around this medium to full bodied fruit bomb.

Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Northern Gale storms out with powerful notes of baked plums, warm cassis, and blackberry preserves, plus wafts of dark chocolate, licorice, and menthol. The full-bodied palate has a lively backbone and grainy texture to support the bright, crunchy black fruit, finishing with lovely vibrancy. — 95pts
