2014 Stormy Weather Cabernet Sauvignon

Aromas of sweet cherries, mocha and summer flowers. Flavors of ripe blackberries, cherries and figs fill the pallet from the start. Firm tannins and toasty notes carry the mid-pallet to a toasted dark chocolate and cherry finish. While still young, this wine is drinking beautifully now and will be spectacular when released in early 2018.  I expect it to be at its best between 2018-2030 but should cellar well for well beyond 2030.

Antonio Galloni

Not a wine for the timid, the 2008 explodes from the glass with a rush of dark fruit, chocolate, mocha and sweet spices. Unapologetically ripe, full-bodied and opulent, the 2008 boasts stunning depth and plenty of intrigue. The equally huge, seamless finish is striking in its beauty and sheer personality. There is an awful lot to like here. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2023.
