Description
Winemaker’s notes: Dark ruby red with heady aromas of black currant, blackberry jam, morello cherry liquor with savory notes and dry herbs. The palate is dominated by dark fruits, English Morello cherries, tobacco leaf and dark chocolate that turns to a cedar spice box and toasted oak. The finish is long and silky, like a neglige sliding off. Medium full bodied...a stunning vintage.
Lisa Perrotti-Brown (Wine Independent):The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Stormy Weather is deep garnet-purple in color. It leaps with vibrant blackcurrant and juicy blackberry notes plus wafts of wild sage, lavender, and cedar chest. The full-bodied palate is bold and beautiful, with a velvety texture and just enough freshness, finishing long and spicy. — 95pts
